Hearing God’s Voice

Hearing God’s voice has always been a controversial topic amongst even Christians themselves. So many people do not believe that God “the Holy Spirit” can talk to us. In fact, most people do believe and see people who claim to hear from Holy Spirit, as “delusional”. Some claim that God spoke through the Prophets in the past, but since after the Bible is written, He stopped talking to us. I will have to admit that I, was once among people, who had that believe system. I used to think that either they were hallucinating or they are lying. But fast-forward to today, I was wrong! 

Bible in the book of Proverbs 14:18 tells us that, ignorant people, get what their foolishness deserves, but clever people are rewarded with knowledge. I will confirm that, for being ignorance of the fact that God still speak to us today, through “The Holy Spirit” who is also God (The third Person in Trinity) and, that He desires to speak to us every day, I did pay great price, for the years I wasted not hearing the Voice of the Holy Spirit, to direct my path. I wasted years walking blindly, and making decisions on my own, because I mocked people who are wise enough to listen to the Voice of the Holy Spirit, to direct their path. I wasted years making bad decisions, which I paid greatly for. But when I finally got to the last point of my own strength, and encountered The Lord Jesus, He opened my eyes to the fact that, He do speak to people, and He desires to do so, only if we are ready to build and maintain a strong relationship with Him.

Enemies are Blessings in disguise

Have you ever despised your enemy? Have you ever hated your enemy so much that you prayed for them to be judged instantly? Or for karma to catch up with them, because of how bad they treated you?

I have done even more than that. I have prayed with Psalms and cried to God to execute instant judgment on my enemies. By “Enemy” I mean someone who was cruel to you, not just someone you dislike because, you guys had disagreement.

From my young age, approximately 6 years of age, until today, I have constantly been under attack of one enemy or another. Even though I’m surrounded by devoted family and friends, there’s always that one person who’s tormenting my life. As a child, it was always my aunts, uncles, or friends who bullied me. As an adult, in relationships and friendships. I have dealt with narcissists and witchcrafts. Recently, upon revisiting my past, I came to the realization that this is the issue that I have been battling for years. I asked God, “why”? What is it about me that I had to deal with many cruel people in life?

We have been lied to (unveiling the lies about sin)

Another area the Holy Spirit placed on my heart to write about, is the lies we have been told about sin.

Before, I used to think that when I sin, I am sinning against God or rather that my sin is hurting God. So, my prayers for forgiveness of sin used to be, that God should forgive me for sinning against him and I believe that’s how people pray too. But the Holy Spirit revealed something different to me and after that my view on sins changed completely.Read More

Narcissism and the spirit behind it.

The Holy Spirit put it on my heart, to write about narcissism because, this is also where I had a lot of experience. 

In life I have met and dealt with few people I can say that not only do they have narcissistic traits (which we all do have) but these are “full blown Narcissists” 

Who is a Narcissist? 

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. They lack empathy and is always difficult to have a good loving relationship with these kinds of people.  

Bible talked about these kinds of people, as people with so much pride and extremely selfish! Proverbs 8:13 tells us that God hates pride.  Read More

Going to Church vs knowing the True Christ

Like I said in my previous post, I have not been going to Church for a very long time and I am currently still not going to any physical Church right now. So, why would someone who said she encountered and has been walking with the True Jesus Christ for some time now say she is not going to Church? I will explain “why”. 

If you read my first blog, I mentioned that I stopped going to church because of so many experiences I had with fake Pastors and carnal Churches. 

What I have come to understand is that there is difference between going to Church and having a deep personal relationship with The Lord. What most people call going to Church is practising Religion which is very much different from Salvation and having deep personal relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ. Going to Church is very good and also beneficial if you find a good Spirit-filled Church that teaches raw Gospel and helps you to build personal relationship with The Lord. As someone who grew up in Africa (Nigeria) I have been to so many Churches and have visited so many self-proclaimed Prophets with my mom.

Hearing God’s Voice Through Dreams

I am so excited to write about dreams on this blog because, this is the area where God has been dealing with me a lot since the start of my spiritual journey. 

While I have always been someone whose dreams come true most of the time, I used to dream occasionally. But anytime I dream and remember my dream, I always take my dream serious, because most of the important events that happened in my life, I first dreamt about them. For instance, before I even conceived my first set of twins, I dreamt that I had twins and they were too boys in the dream. The dream occurred even months before I became pregnant. I also had so many warning dreams, where I will be warned about someone or something before, they happen. But all those happened occasionally.

The struggles of my spiritual journey as a new believer

 

Welcome to my Blog Family. 

I am a new believer in Christ. I started walking with the Lord for approximately one Year now. In this past one Year God has taught me so many things. 

It has been a journey with so many lessons learnt.  

I have had seasons where I rebelled, wanted to live my life and have fun like everyone else and in those seasons, God used them also to build me (which I will come back to later). I have also had seasons where I doubted the whole spiritual Journey, thinking maybe it was all an Imagination and Illusions, I had seasons where I would pray and cry endlessly, when I had so many questions but couldn´t get immediate answers and I felt so confused about everything. Sometimes I would even get angry at God and had the feelings that He was messing with my Head and I will cry myself to sleep.
